My real name is Jeremy Thomas. I have used and greatly benefited from Wikipedia since early in my nerdy childhood. I only recently decided to create a Wikipedia account on January 12th, 2024 so I could make a few copy-edits to an article I was interested in.

I was born in Bengaluru, India, but was raised in the the Albertan prairies, in Calgary, Canada. I currently live in Vancouver, and am doing a PhD in Neuroscience. My academic expertise is in the fields of visual perception and motor control, but funny enough, on Wikipedia I mostly articles about history. I look forward to playing a more active role in this community.
