Jason Eggert (born Jason Michael Eggert) is currently a student at the University of North Carolina Ashevillestudying for a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics

The only child of Margaret Jean Hafeli Eggert and James Gerard Eggert, Jason was born May 26, 1990 at St. Joseph Hospital in the city of Orange, California. Jason lived with his parents in a small 2 bedroom home in Corona, California until the age of 9, when they moved to a larger home in South Corona.

At the age of 11, Jason was invited to participate as background talent for the entertainment industry through Kids Background Talentwhere he appeared in promotional advertising for Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and Sex and the City, Commercials for Jack in the Box and Verizon Wireless, Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and films including Rebound, Keeping Up with the Steins and 13 going on 30. Jason continued his background acting until the age of 15.

At the age of 15, Jason's parents divorced leaving him in the custody of his mother while his father relocated to Chicago, Illinois. Shortly thereafter, Jason and his mother moved to Asheville, North Carolinawhere they currently reside today.

Jason began his education at Montessori of Orange at the age of 4 and was soon ready for grade school. Jason then attended Hillsborough Private Schoollocated in Anaheim Hills, California where one day on the playground he slipped in the rain and subsequently hit his head on the asphalt resulting in a concussion. He also received his first and only black eye due to a run in with an un-tethered tetherball.

Jason was 9 when his parents moved to a larger home in South Corona and he was transferred to Benjamin Franklin Elementary School in Corona, CA where he earned the Presidents Gold Award for scholastic excellence. He then attended Citrus Middle school and Santiago High School where he was a member of the French club and played as a freshman on the boys JV Volleyball team. Jason finished his high school education at Enka High in Candler, North Carolina. Upon graduation he enrolled at the University of North Carolina Asheville where he intends to pursue a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics then continue with his studies by pursuing a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

On a recent vacation to Walt Disney World Florida, Jason was riding the Monorailin the front with the driver around the resort hotels that connect the Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian hotels with the Magic Kingdom. During a long wait at the Polynesian Resort for the addition of another Monorail train Jason began to assess the controls of the train and was caught in the act of doing so by the trains engineer. Noticing Jason's curiosity for the technology of the vehicle the engineer, a training director for the Monorail staff, invited Jason to stand next to him from the station at the Polynesian Resort to the Station at the Grand Floridian and began to instruct Jason on the mechanics of the trains. Once on board from the Grand Floridian, the engineer invited Jason to sit in the driver's seat and let him guide the train into the next station.
