Jnd89 - Jon-Neil Dawson

Jon-Neil Dawson was Born 20th September 1989 in Royal Bolton Hospital.

He has a keen interest in the ATC (Air Training Corps) being a member of 1471(Horwich) Sqn. at which he holds the rank of Corporal.

Air Training Corps Career

During November 2004, His interest of aviation and the Airforce had heightened. It was at this time where 1471 (Horwich) Squadron had successfully moved building to St Joseph's RCHS school grounds. Following Probationary Training, he was formally enrolled in February 2005.

Through his length of service he has attended all major events, including the Remembrance Sunday Parade, Battle of Britain Parade, and ATC Sunday. On Saturday 14th July, Cpl. Dawson attended the Manchester Military Tattoo, carrying the Banner for his Squadron.

His hard work and effort has been paid for when he recieved his promotion to Corporal in February 2007, nearly two years since enrollment.

During Summer 2007, he is to be completing his Gliding Scholarship at 625VGS in which he will be earning his set of Wings.
