- Any style guideline can be overridden by any Wikiproject with respect to all pages within its ambit
- Avoiding recentism does not apply to sports pages. Articles about sports teams must list their current squad and describe their current season in detail.
- The guideline on using local English requires that articles about..
- ..sports teams must be in the style of Sports Illustrated or the Daily Telegraph as appropriate.
- ..films must be in the style of Variety
- ..British Royalty must be in the style of the Court Circular.
- ..Scotland must use the word outwith.
- Prefer prose to tables and charts. If necessary, use a bot to convert statistics into sentences. Try putting a thesaurus randomiser function in your bot.
- Every article must have at least three footer templates, preferably with different coloured title bars. If there is no specific template, use a generic one. Pick one of the categories it's in, find a related template, and stick it on the article.
- Every list must have a stack of pictures lining the right hand side. The stack must be the same length as the list. Each picture should have a suitable caption; for example, a picture of actor Joe Bloggs in "List of Foos" should be captioned "Actor Joe Bloggs is a Foo."
