Founded in 1987 by an independent publisher with a goal of helping young adults to consider the possibility of life as a sister, brother, or priest, the VISION Vocation-Network website and VISION magazine is owned by the National Religious Vocation Conference, who today contracts TrueQuest Communications to provide publishing services.

VISION's mission to provide readers with a broad picture of religious life through first-person accounts, profiles, photo stories, and informational articles about discernment, community life, vows, ministry, and Catholic teachings. The religious congregations who advertise in VISION provide additional information in a community index about their ministries and requirements.

VISION is free. The printed guide is produced annually and distributed throughout the U.S. and Canada. Digitalvocationguide.com and the vocation-network.org reach across the globe. Articles appear online in English, Spanish, and French. New content is posted daily.

VocationMatch.com is a unique discernment tool provided by VISION Vocation Guide to help men and women considering religious life to focus their options and narrow their search for the right vocation and community. After completing a series of questions about interests and spiritual orientation, the participant's answers are matched against the profiles of hundreds of religious communities, institutes, and organizations. The discerner receives the results of those communities that might be a good fit for them.

VocationMatch was recently featured on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and in Time magazine!
