My name is Joel Castillo I'm a first semester student of Telecommunications; I'm 1.74 meters tall and I weigh 61 kg. I was born in the beautiful city of Durango, Mexico but I'm currently living in Mexico City. As a kid my favourite toys were the Legos and I wanted to be an astronaut. I studied geological engineering for a year and a half, I didn't like it so I dropped out and went to France to learn French and also to get out of Mexico for a while. After spending five months in France eating badly and drinking cheap wine I decided it was about time to come back to Mexico and start university, again. So I came back and I'm now studying Telecommunications and electronic systems engineering at ITESM CCM, and so far I'm enjoying it a lot. The Wikimedia club of my university caught my interest because being away from Mexico for a few months made me realize how important languages are, and most important, how bad my English was. As a result I decided to join the club so that I can practice my English and learn a few things about Wikipedia as well.
