Did you know that Okavango Delta in Botswana is not only that it is the largest inland delta in the world (covering 15 000 square kilometre of Botswana's 582 000 square kilometre surface area), it is also unique in the sense that it does not end into any sea or ocean. Inland deltas are formed when rivers divide into multiple branches in an inland area, and later rejoin and continue to a sea or an ocean. Take an example of The Amazon in Brazil.
