Biography
[edit]Joshua Hines, better known as Yung Kidd (Formerly known as CEO Khidd) is an American rapper, singer, song writer and actor. He is mostly known for his “Hyphy” style of rap. His flow is fast and his beats are smooth which give his songs a 80’s disco/rap vibe. His delivery is Hype or “Hyphy” and his punchlines are crucial, every bar has some kind of double meaning in his songs. Kidd released his first single, “Hoochie Freestyle”, in March of 2018 under the name CEO Khidd. On December 29th 2018, he released his most known single “Macs Out”, earning him an underground online puff.
Early life
[edit]Joshua, was raised in Memphis, Tennessee by his Father and attended Egypt Elementary School with his cousins. Inspired by his mother he began freestyling at the early age of 8 and wrote his first song at 13. Inspired by famous rap groups Three 6 Mafia, UGK, Whodini, 8ball & MJG, Run DMC and DJ Afrika Bambaataa he developed an “Old-School” style flow and his peers often reminded him of it.
At age 14 he was in a severe car accident which scarred his face and shattered his femur, this left him handicapped for months and he was often ridiculed because of it. This caused him ceaseless anger issues and he often used his negative energy to make songs.
In his freshman year of Highschool his peers often told him that he had a gift and that he shouldn’t let that gift go to waste. Later that year he was equipped with a computer, condenser microphone, and a digital audio workshop software where he learned how to make beats and record vocals. The following months he recorded and released his first song “Hoochie Freestyle” under the name of CEO Khidd. Following that he released singles like “Rickylake” and “Mad Max”. Seeing that his peers genuinely liked his talent for music he began to take it more seriously and increase his work ethic. He then released his breakthrough single “Macs Out” which gained him an online buzz.
Personal life
[edit]Joshua’s net worth is questionable, even though he is seen showing off thousands of dollars on his Instagram his total net worth is unclear. His current relationship status is unknown. Joshua is said to love console gaming, and boxing.
