THE LIFE AND TIMES OF MY BELOVED FATHER. Mr David Johnny Ubom.
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, it is with great sadness I announce the death of my beloved father Mr David Johnny Ubom. He passed peacefully on 10th May, 2016. about 2345 hours. Surrounded by his wife, family and close friends.
My Mother, Sister, brother and I would like to thank doctors, nurses and staff of Etinan general hospital, Akwa Ibom state for the amazing care they provided for our father.
Maria, Gladys, Victoria, Victor(EDIKAN) and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support and prayer we have received from all around the country. They have been heard and appreciated.
My father's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although this is difficult to do right now. I know his final wish would be we return to laughing soon. Ubong David Johnny Ubom for the family.
IN MEMORY OF MY LOVING FATHER.
I received a GSM call from Elder Jimmy Okon on Wednesday morning, 11th May 2016 about 0715 hours from the bathroom that I should come home immediately. I hang up the phone call, then call my father's line only for my step mum Gladys, to answer and said, "Ubong" your father is late upon all your efforts to saved him. I broke down in tears, then gather myself together as I drove down to Etinan general hospital Akwa Ibom State, from Iyamho near Auchi in Etsako west LGA Edo state. where I reside and work.
ONE OF THE GOOD TIMES WITH MY FATHER.
This is the very day 4th of May 2016, when I had a very good conversation with my late father regarding my background. Then, He was hale and hearty unknowingly to me it's the last moment we'll ever share together. Days later he called that he needs immediate medical attention. Hospitalised as he passes on to the great beyond. This is in memory of the last moment with my beloved Papa.
MR. DAVID JOHNNY UBOM CENTRE.
