The Dartmouth Phoenix hockey club is a semi-Professional ball hockey team that plays in the Halifax ball hockey league. The Team is located out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. The club plays in both the Summer "C" division and the Winter "C" division.
2009 The inaugural season for the Phoenix's was the 2009 summer season. The club had a rough regular season seeing the club go 0-18-2, because of league rules the club was awarded the last place spot in the divisional playoffs. Dartmouth went on to eliminate The Storm in a 2 game sweep and proceeded to elimante the first place Ballzdeep in a 2 game sweep. The club captured Gold in their first summer season under the leadership of captain Jon Service and assitant captains Chris Walsh and Cory Myers. Many people believe that the playoff success of the Phoenix was because of the clubs move to a new Goaltender and the Position Switch of a few key players. ( Joshua Sampson;Center to Defense, Chris Miller; Wing to Defense and Chris Jones; Wing to Defense. The Club also released goaltender Matthew Farell part-way thru the summer regular season do to poor play.

The phoenix's are currently playing in the 2009/2010 HBHL winter season out of the Stadacona GYM. The Club is still being Captained by Jon Service and Chris Walsh is still the 1st assitant captain, but the winter season brought out a new captain for the Phoenix in second year defensemen Joshua Sampson.
