From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Things Drunk People Say was edited by Kathleen Go, and published in July 2009 by the New York based publisher Skyhorse Publishing. This is a compilation of quotes that are a reflection of inadequacies that are said under the influence of alcohol. It has been mentioned in The Boston Herald, and referred to as a book "full of stories you'll remember the next morning". Full review reads:

"Ahh, the overlubricated. We love them, we mock them and sometimes we are them. Finally, someone has put together a collection of the sloshed set’s wasted witticisms, smashed soliloquies and boozy bedroom one-line-stands. Augmented by colorful illustrations, this book, edited by New York writer Kathleen Go, is full of stories you’ll remember the next morning."

It has also been featured in 77 Square, on-line arts and entertainment edition linked to The Capital Times. Full review reads:

"Sure, the Internet has a limitless supply of humor websites based on the ridiculous things people say, do and wear. (My all-time favorites: VICE Dos and Don'ts, LATFH.com, texts from last night, PassiveAggressiveNotes.com, Overheard in Madison.)But you can't hold them in your hands, and not many have particularly creative accompanying artwork. That's what's so refreshing about Kathleen Go's new book "Things Drunk People Say." She collected overheard snippets of drunken conversations, then asked ten artists and graphic designers to lavishly illustrate each one." (Complete article in 77 Square [2]
