In the world of business, Operational Effectiveness can be is defined as the different kind of practices or activities that an enterprise can performs to get (?) "the right things done"[1] better than their competitors. It allows a business or an organization to improve the use of inputs (what type of inputs) looking for an advantage over the rivals.[2] Operational Effectiveness activities will lead an organization to the efficiently use of resources (this sentence does not make sense) , to boost the processes and to help to accomplish the mission and vision, but is not only reduced to the point of efficiency. Strategy is closely related to Operational Effectiveness and both are necessary to present a superior performance.

Leading and Controlling functional performance

Leading involves all the social sources that the leader can take to inspire the people in the organization. When managers can effectively lead their subordinates, the people will follow and accept the decisions that the leader inquieres to take the organization to a new level of effective processes.

Control can involve activities to check the right work of the organization`s processes and to adjust the procedures to achieve the plans and objectives, according to goals.

Measuring and improving the process

Part of the Business Process Managment, (spelling!!) is focused on improving the performance of the organization through management and optimizing processes.

Leveraging and automating process

Consist in the activities that an organization can perform as an strength and used for its own advantage over the competition. Another point is to improve this processes by implementing the help of technology in order to reduce costs and restructure to deliver automation of the process.

Improving performance

Consist in identifying opportunities to improve the processes, through the visualization of the workflow. The visualization metod is focused on reaching better standars.
