Jürgen Happe, born in Bremen, studied classical guitar at the Konservatorium Bremen and Vienna from 1974. Continued studies at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna from 1978 and graduated with Prof. Karl Scheit in 1983. Since 1983 he teaches classical guitar at the Universität Hildesheim and from 1986 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover.
