Fallen Grace was initiated by 5 school buddies from D. S. Senanayake College. But along the way the band was doomed by many a non-committed member, resulting in forced breaks for the band, periodically. However, during somewhere in the beginning of January Dilshan took over the drumming responsibilities of the band & added what was referred to as what was missing. After a brief period without a Rhythm guitarist, Guitarist & frontman of TNL Onstage 2006 Thrash metal act Metalaphonia, Kalana took over the duties of Rhythm guitar.

The bands lyrics are constructed around Fallacies of life & religion, Apathy, Morbid, Conflict, redemption hope & futility of Faith in a religious context.

The band heavily draws inspiration from Melo Death metal bands evolved from the Gothenburg era, such as Dark Tranquillity, Amon Amath, Sentenced, At the gates, & also Children of Bodom, Venom, Vader, Strapping young lad, Scar Symmetry, Motor Head, DragonForce and many more. They released their EP titled Rise and Assault in March of 2010.
