Michie Elementary School
Michie Elementary School (MES) is a public elementary school that provides education to those of grades Pre-K4 (as well as Pre-K5) to grade 8.[1] The school is open for a total of 180 days on weekdays from 7:45 A.M. (8:00 A.M.) to 3:15 PM.
Dr. Matt Alred is the principal of the school and Ms. Carolyn Giesler is the Vice (Assistant) Principal.[2]
The school mascot is the Blue Devil.
History
Michie Elementary (Formerly Michie High School) was built 1954[1]. The school was originally submitted as grades 1-12 but was later changed to grades K-8 in 1969 when all McNairy County high schools were consolidated. Since the school's consolidation, it has received multiple renovations and constructed attachments to it's former structure.
Location
Michie Elementary School is located on 6418 Hwy 57E, Michie, TN.[3] The school is (roughly) located in Areas 20 & 21 of TN, in the Grand Division of West Tennessee, in the bottom portion of McNairy County.
The school is around 17.7 acres or 771,012 square feet. It's coordinates are 35.06946° N, -88.4339° W. 
Population/Ethnicity
As of current supplied data, Michie Elementary has approximately 330-380[4] (51% Female, 49% Male) enrolled students attended to. Michie School also has about 28 full-time teachers. This puts them at a Class 1A school.

Programs
Michie Elementary School fulfills all necessary core educational curriculums including: Math, RLA (Reading), ELA (English), Sciences, Social Studies (History, and Physical Education (P.E./Gym). MES also provides additional classes of Art, STEM, Library, Guidance, and Band.[1]
MES also participates in the following TN programs like 4-H, ENRICH, SPED, Learning Intervention, and Speech Intervention. Alongside with the stated programs, MES hosts, participates, and supports local community activities and events.[1]
MES presents 5 athletic programs ran under the Athletic Director (AD) of MES, Len Phegley, are Football, Softball, Boy's and Girl's Basketball, and Cheerleading as well as an annual McNairy County Middle School Track Meet.[1] In the past, however, the school was supplied with an additional Baseball team but due to low population, the program was shut down.
MJHS Football
In the 2022-2023 season, the Michie Junior High School (MJHS) Football team went undefeated in the regular season, but fell short in the County Championship game against the Adamsville Cardinals losing 30-22, giving MJHS a record of 8-1.
The 2022-2023 team was coached by Michael Cleary with assistant coaches Terry (?) and Houston Tacker.
In the past 3 years, MJHS Football has obtained 3 Playoff victories, 19 (23 unconfirmed) Wins, 5 Losses, and 1 County Championship[5]

MJHS Softball
In the 2022-2023 season, the Michie Junior High School (MJHS) Softball team was coached by Marcie Barns.
Catcher (C) Anna Kate Skinner, Outfielder/Pitcher (OF/SP) Sophie Edwards, and Pitcher (SP) Aubrey Maxedon won All-County this season.
MJHS Boy's Basketball
In the 2022-2023 season, the Michie Junior High School (MJHS) Boy's Basketball team went 19-3 under Head Coach Michael Cleary and Assistant Coach Andy Allen leading them to a 17-1 Regular Season Record, 9-0 County Record, a County Championship, and to the 3rd round of the State Tournament.
In the past 3 years, MJHS Blue Devil Basketball has obtained 4-1 County Playoff Record, 28 Wins, 15 Losses, 2 County Championships, and a 1-2 State Record.

Shooting Guard (SG) Ty Whitten, Power Forward (PF) Skyler Hollan, and Point Guard (PG) Bradley Harris were selected to the All-County Team[6] this season. Shooting Guard (SG) Ty Whitten was selected to the All-West Tennessee Team[7] and selected as the County Tournament MVP[6] as well.
Michie's most recent championships were in the years 2022, 2020, and 2011.
MJHS Girl's Basketball
In the 2022-2023 season, the Michie Junior High School (MJHS) Girl's Basketball team was coached by Shandal Maxedon this season.
Small Forward (SF) Sophie Edwards, Center (C) Anna Kate Skinner, and Point Guard (PG) Bella Redmon were selected to the All-County Team this season.[8] Center (C) Anna Kate Skinner was also selected to the All-West Tennessee Team as well.[9]
