From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Does Not Commute is a driving game by Medicore.[1]

Gameplay

[edit]

The gameplay consists of the player driving a cars from point A to point B. However, all the cars that the player drives are in the same time frame. If a player crashes a car, the car goes slower.[2] There is also a time limit as to how long you can spend driving all the allotted cars (and the people inside) to their destinations. The player can “rewind” if a trip goes badly. However, this costs 1 second,[3] The game ends when the player has no more time left.[4]

Reception

[edit]

Does Not Commute received mostly positive reviews. Gamezebo gave the game 4.5 out of 5 stars praising its "hilarious writing" and that the game is an "unique mix of strategy, driving, and memory" while criticizing the fact that "running out of time means going back to the start of a level, which can be frustrating".[3] PCMag gave the game 4 out of 5 praising the game's "unique gameplay", that it is "very challenging", has a "great soundtrack" and that the game had "strong funny writting" while criticizing the fact that the game "requires lots of tedious replaying".[5] Metacritic gave the game a metascore of 87 out of 100 indicating “generally positive reviews”.[6]
