The KGB Guidebook to Cities of the World ([Путеводитель КГБ по городам мира] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) are two volumes of stories by seven retired KGB agents, recounting anecdotes of their days of espionage in the Cold War.[1][2] The first book was published in 1996 and was so successful a second volume of stories was published the next year.
Some of the chapters were written under pseudonyms. The authors brought the material to the FSB, the KGB's succeeding agency in Moscow, prior to publication to ensure no secrets of espionage were revealed.[3]
