One day Ricky is in school painting. He spends much time and effort in creating a beautiflul picture that he is so very proud of. He cant wait to get home to share it with his mama.

As Ricky races home, with drawing at hand, he storms through the front door, feet quickly pounding on the hard wood floor, calling, "mama!, mama!"

She responds, "in the kitchen!"

He quickly approaches her, out of breath and so excited he's barely able to form the words..."I painted this picture for you mama"

Her response,

A PURPLE COW!!!....

Cow's are not suppose to be PURPLE!....

The boy is crushed by these words and never again does he look within for his purple cow.

Hence, a broken adult walking around crushed from childhood, unabled or unwilling to express, create, imagine and dream.
