So there wasn't much of a thought process to why I chose artificial intelligence, it was just something I really enjoyed reading about. The changes I made were just there for simplicity and understanding how AI can affect the healthcare system in the simplest way.

The article I chose was about computer ethics. In this day and age, digital technology is becoming so prevalent that there are both good and bad things that occur using digital technology. One of the most predominant forms of digital technology is the computer. The computer is so dominant in society, that not having one would put you out of place. At the University of Maryland, a majority of assignments cannot be completed without the use of ELMS or canvas, a platform made to track homework, grades, and store files for student use. But what keeps the bad uses of digital technology from becoming the social norm? Computer ethics does just that. The wikipedia article on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_ethics, Computer ethics, discusses the ethics behind computers.

In this article, every source is cited with credible and appropriate sources which makes the article itself credible and appropriate to use in a discussion of computer ethics. Surprisingly, everything in this article is relevant to computer ethics and does not have random disinteresting ethical arguments of other forms of technologies. The article also maintains neutrality and explains both sides of the ethics in a reasonable manner. As a reader, there were no noticeable distractions while reading throughout. The information on computer ethics comes from universities, such as Stanford University and the University of Toronto, and ethics firms, such as SRI international and IEEE. On top of the credible sources, the article does not appear to have a bias towards any side. Because the information is obtained from places like IEEE, the information source is as free from as much bias as possible making the viewpoints presented in a decent and non overpowering way.

The article’s format is set in a way that makes it possible to see any institutions’ ethical stance. It lists ethical standards in a list, and the specific location one can find the standard using in text citations. The in text citations lead to links which lead to the page where the ethics are defined. Each link does work in a proper manner. Before the actual design of the ethics, the article discusses the foundation, history, internet privacy, how to identify issues, and ethical standards. These are all subjects which help understand the ethics of computers much more simple, and it makes the article better since it makes the article have more substance than just a few links about ethics without explaining what it is.
