From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A fluvial process is a process by which a the flowing water in a channel interacts with the channel itself. They play a major role in the denudation of the area. When the water is collected in the catchment area, it erodes the land. The eroded debris are then transported along the river channel and deposited.[1]
