Kayla Andre is an American author who is signed to and co-owns Beyond The Pen, LLC with two of her best friends. Her most noted series is a Christian series titled "The Other Side Of The Pastor's Bed". All three of those books debuted on the charts in the Top 5, with the first two making the #1 spot.

Life

Kayla Andre was born in Metairie, Louisiana as the last child to both her mother and father, Denise and Carlos. Kayla attended Grace King High School in Metairie where she was president of Student Council her Sophomore year. She attends The University of Louisiana Monroe where she studies Toxicology.

Kayla began writing at an very early age. Her friends have often been noted saying that she would write stories about them in grade school. It wasn't until she was 20 when her first book was published, but it was later taken down.

Career

Kayla's first book was titled "A King and His Rider" which she released two parts under Talehia Presents, but due to discrepancies, Kayla parted from the company September 2016. Afterwards, Kayla signed to Major Ink Publications where she released her most successful series to date, "The Other Side Of The Pastor's Bed". Although she gained a lot of readers following that release, she decided that it was time to go to the next level.

With four of her best friends and peers, Kayla started Beyond The Pen,LLC. For three months the girls worked hard, but at the beginning of 2018 the two of the partners left the company leaving Mikeysha Clark and Parker Washington to grown the business on their own.
