Kenny Baldrick (born 29th December 1978) in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. He attended Ebrington Primary School, then went to Foyle and Londonderry College, before studying at University College of St Martins. He played rugby for City of Derry RFC for several years. He took up teaching, and is currently teaching at Newbuildings Primary School in Londonderry.


Before he took up a career as a teacher he played professional football. He had a trial for Manchester Utd and went on to play for the reserves for 3 seasons and made his debut for Utd in 2000 playing against Liverpool in a game Manchester Utd won 3-1. He only played 2 more matches before injury brought his career to an end. He damaged his knee in a tackle during a local derby match against Manchester City. Despite intensive rehabilitation he never recovered and retired from football at the end of that year.
