I have a background in European linguistics and French and German philology. I taught English, French and German at universities in Canada and China and worked as an intercultural and second language acquisition consultant in China. I capped my career in the Canadian federal government as a supervisor of a team of software product owners. I now volunteer on the board of a sailing club, including overseeing the website, where I exercise my passion of sailing.
