Munir Ramdedovic, born on 10 June 1967 in Lagatore, Montenegro, is the President of the National Council for Foreigners (CNE) Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page). [1]. He is also president of the European diaspora of Montenegro which brings together 45 associations in 19 countries [2].

Biography

Munir Ramdedovic holds an engineering degree in technology orientation from University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy. He also holds a master's degree in environmental sciences (orientation: Environmental monitoring) from the Luxembourg University Foundation in Arlon (Belgium).

Munir Ramdedovic is, through his interests in cultures and the links they can forge, sworn translator-interpreter at the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Thionville (France): Languages of Serbo-Croatian origin into French. He is also a sworn translator-interpreter at the Superior Court of Justice in Luxembourg [3].

His keen interest in learning and mastering applied knowledge led him to pursue training as a civics trainer and obtained certification. Since 2017, he has been a trainer in civic education, within the framework of Integration Contract, within the Ministry of Family, Integration and the Greater Region.

He was an engineer at the research and development department at Chemolux in Foetz, Luxembourg, between 1997 and 2012.

Social and Political Activities

Since 2012, Munir Ramdedovic has been an effective member of the National Council for Foreigners (CNE) where he was President-Reporter of the Commission for Migrants and cross-border workers. He has been also an executive member of the CNE office.

From 2010 to 2013, Munir Ramdedovic was President of the association Cooperation Luxembourg - Montenegro (asbl) [4], ensuring many activities and projects, for the integration and representation of the Balkan culture in Luxembourg.

Organization of round tables and conferences for the registration of foreigners on electoral lists, in particular with the project " Je vote, et vous ?[5] (I vote, and you?) ",

Coordination of the editorial project, translation and publication of the book “Histoire du Monténégro” in French (Authors: S. Rastoder and Z. Andrijasevic),

Coordination of the registration project on the municipal electoral lists of Montenegrins in Luxembourg,

Realization of the Study on " Bihor, une oasis écologique (an ecological oasis)",

Research study about wastewater in Montenegro.

From 2007 to 2009, he chaired the Amitié Luxembourg-Monténégro (asbl) association with 300 active members [6]. Several works have emerged such as the publication of articles concerning sustainable development projects in Montenegro, and carrying out studies on the possibilities of monitoring naturally intact regions and developing tourist trails.
