Leon Mashimbyi, known professionally as Tonie Leon, is a South African rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Soweto, Johannesburg. 

Tonie Leon recently released an EP in 2020 titled Tiko Arietlele. Later that year he then released his first piano EP titled Tiko Aritlele . The title means "the world doesn't sleep". The EP consists of three songs; Disney Girl, Dzinginisa and Willy Wonka. This EP is not only the piano sound but also has a twist of afro pop.

Recently Tonie Leon released a track titled the world doesn't sleep which is remix to a track titled "The World Doesn't Sleep" by 21Savage and Metroboomin. The inspiration for this remix is from his first upcoming album which will be released during this year.
