Honeymoon Gone Bad

Honeymoon Gone Bad is a fictional short story filled with humour written by an upcoming writer and blogger who goes by Fallow Amber, as her moniker.

The short story opens with a simple yet hilarious paragraph that has readers wanting to dive deeper into it.

“Erm… Rora! I think the baby just did a number two on the couch in the living room…”, a terrified Lewis Harrison spoke up, looking at his crying baby, Dylan.

Inspired by one of the weekly prompts organised by Reedsy, she uploaded the story on her website gaining comments from her relatives and close friends commending her write-up and how it had made them excited for more of her stories.

Summary

The story begins with Dylan Harrison, the only son and child of Lewis and Aurora, having defecated on the couch in the living room. Lewis, oblivious of how diapers should be changed, was urged by Aurora, his wife, to clean him up and the couch. Unfortunately, as expected, Lewis messed up the place instead, causing a rather tied up Aurora to come clean up instead.
