Chris "Premo" Braswell grew up in North Philadelphia. The Love for music sparked his journey at an early age. The stage name "Premo" originated from his friend Sean Prunell. Premo didn’t have much growing up but was grateful for what was given to him. the motivation was his struggle and the drive was to seek better opportunities. he knew could be someone and achieve greater things. there was more to life than his eyes could see.. packing up and moving to Florida began his life in music education. In Philly, it seemed as if every opportunity came to a halt.

     Growing up with many people who influenced his growth and cultivating his brand.. he focused on what was important and needed to take it to the next level. A supportive family, loving friends and great mentors made it possible..  he learned to appreciate the value of life after losing his mother in late 2006. there was pain from it, but he channeled the emotion into music. he was able to clear his mind from struggles breaking out of the comfort zone. spending time with his family and show the love he has for his neighbors is all because God allowed him to live a life of perseverance.
