Bok-jori

Bok-Jori is a dish that is hung on the wall early in the morning on New Year's Day or after midnight on New Year's Eve to bring many blessings.

Jori made by thinly splitting bamboo is bought and hung up, and merchants sometimes go door to door all night shouting "Buy Bok-jori, Bok-jori!" from the night before New Moon Day to sell Bok-Jori.
