My name is Kirk McDougall. I am retired and live in Nanaimo, British Columbia with my wife. I am an amateur photographer and joined Wikipedia when I noticed that many photos are missing from Historic places. I like to travel and tend to go where others do not and feel that my contributions may often be for places that are overlooked.

I am also excited about fixing up some simple errors like spelling and progressing as I go along.
