kites0852 is a former crew member (female) of the USS Platte (AO-186) serving aboard from May 1989 - May 1994. She made Chief Petty Officer aboard the ship in 1990 and was one of 18 Enlisted females that were part of the Initial Embarkation of Females to begin serving aboard resulting in a mixed gender crew which was the crew makeup until Platte was decommissioned in the late 90s (way too early).

Videos of some time spent aboard ship are being worked on with 1989/1990 released in draft format to a select few crew members. 1991 - the Desert Shield/Storm year and a circumnavigation of South America is in the works with at least a third video following of the Jumboization.
