Teen darwaja was completed in early 1415 and it is located on the east side of Bhadra Fort. The gate features the logo of AMC [Ahmedabad municipal corporation]. Teen darwaja have many alternative names such as in Gujarati Tran darwaja in English Three Gates. In 1877 the gate was repaired and the terrace was made open and the terrace was enthroned with the sovereign. This area is now a congested market. People from various places comes to see the famous Lal darwaja market which is linked with the teen darwaja market. According to the testimonials people about the shopping experience in the flea market tells that near the teen darwaja and Jama masjid there are lots of retail outlets which have 4 times the price of the normal outlet and huge bargaining happens there.
