Graboid is a subscription-based file sharing program that provides access to high-quality videos for users to watch and/or download on their computer. Graboid is similar to a Peer-to-Peer file-sharing network, but is based primarily on server hosts rather than peers.
How it Works
[edit]Users can share files across the internet, but unlike other P2P programs, only video files are shared, and files can be streamed during the download.
Legality
[edit]The legality of Graboid has been challenged.[1] However, while many of the files available to download are illegal copies of copyrighted material, the program itself, as well as the services offered, are legal.[2]
