COLOR SEPARATION[edit]

On VECTOR Images

1) All shapes (paths) solid or with gradiation must be as simple as they can be (Avoid having useless pivot Points).
2) Ordenize design parts as simple as it can be by grouping paths and place them in LAYERS .
3) Name layers and number them.
4) Think LIGHT TO DARK Separation, light layer on top and dark layer at the bottom sample: ( 01 yellow, 02 blue, 03 Black).
5) AFTER MASTER IMAGE is Color Separated, make it to the desired printing size and save the file.
6) DUPLICATE THE FILE
7) Open the file you duplicated and convert all layers to a 100% BLACK (This is because the "Printer Language Postscript" translates the data in to a GRAY SCALE, so if you leave a shape as a 90% BLACK when printing film positives the print will have spaces created by halftones which is used for gradients or other printing FX.
8) If working with GRADIENTS remember you are only dealing with black and white colors.

I will keep adding and editing this article for better understanding.
