I am a wildlife biologist from India. For my Master's degree in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from The National Centre for Biological Sciences I studied the Winter foraging behaviour of the bharal in the Spiti valley. After my Masters I got an opportunity to help in developing the management plan for the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary and the Pin valley National Park. Both these protected areas are located in the Spiti Valley. Currently I am doing my PhD on issues around livestock killing by snow leopard in the Trans-Himalayan regions of India.
