LDUVIN is a bag brand originally founded at a workshop called "SPHERA" in Florence, the ancient capital of Italy.

The founder of SPHERA, MR. LAZZARO, mainly produced leather purses and handbags at the early stage of his business. Later, he gradually focused on travel goods and produced travel bags from leather, and achieved outstanding success.

To expand the market and get better understanding about the industry, the founder, MR. LAZZARO, took a trip around the world and met MR. DUVIN, a designer who was active on the world stage while mainly based in the United States.

In collaboration with the designer, a more stylish and easy-to-use suitcase was introduced. The brand name also changed from “SPHERA” to “LDUVIN”, and the more compact aluminum luggage “Viaggiatori” was produced with a focus on the overseas travel market in Europe back then and continued to evolve a modern and simple design concept.

Strategy Shift

In 2000, manufacturing bases were relocated to Western Europe and China, and a new manufacturing system was established.

The prime requirements for materials and craftsmanship have been maintained, and more attention has been paid to the use of aluminum alloy materials. The sturdy aluminum alloy body is extremely resistant to impact and damage.

It is durable, airtight and waterproof. Its soft-looking texture on the outside makes the suitcases more premium and also highly decorative.

LDUVIN aims to evolve as a brand that creates travel luggage products combining minimalist design with adequate functionality.

History

• June 1940 - A workshop called SPHERA was founded in Florence, the ancient capital of Italy.
• March 1960 - The brand name was changed from SPHERA to LDUVIN.
• July 2000 - Manufacturing bases were launched in Belgium and China.
• November 2010 - A pop-up store was opened to commemorate the founder's birthday.

Entry to the Japanese market

• 2020 DECOHUB LCC acquired the EC sales agency rights.
• 2022 LDUVIN EC sales website started running.
