Collapsible Empire (Band) THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!!! Based in San Francisco California. Collapsible Empire Was started in 2012 by Two long time friends Dario Garcia and Richard Yannacone. Both from Key west Florida and friends since high school. When Richard learned to play guitar in high school. He and Dario would head to the streets to play for the tourist and maybe even TIPS from people to fund their "extracurricular activites". Here we are in 2010. Rich moves to San Francisco and immediately starts playing with Dario. who by now is a really nice guitar player himself.Plays a nice piano and has a great tenor voice!. Mostly though he had been doing a lot of songwriting and playing the bass guitar in a few bands noteably "Ants and Orchids" and "Filter Bubble". Meanwhile Rich had spent his time playing in various bar bands... "Sofakings" and "Serious Jones" in key west and "Bartholin's Gland" a kinda punk band in Eugene Oregon. Collapsible Empire Consists of: Songwriters Dario Garcia(Vocals) Richard Yannacone(Bass). On Guitars are Toby Nies and John stanley and on drums Felix Macnee. They have an album coming out in Mid Summer of 2013 called "Over the Big Top" (working title). The album recorded at Light Rail Studios in San Francisco engineered and produced by Nick D.
