Cassie Brode[1] was born Emporia, Virginia, raised in Rawlings, Virginia, which she's originally from she went to Brunswick Senior High School. Drop out at the age of 17 and got her high school diploma at the age of 23 from Penn Foster High School. She goes to Liberty University and seeking a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice: Crime Scene Investigation she also planning to go to Regent University soon after.
She started reading books when she was in the fifth grade and started getting into writing at the age of 18.
She writes to express herself, so if it's someone's else's words, then it's not her telling a story. At that point, She's just as a writer, and she's not a writer. She's a sailing soul, a free spirit. She just needed to release all her frustration and heartache and pain. It's "easier" for her too, write about that type of stuff than "happiness." She just tells the truth, If someone asks her something, she respond without compromising another person or telling their secrets. She's nothing if not open, a quality that some people find attractive, and some don't because she comes off as very blunt. She's a free spirit and doesn't know what the future holds. She could meet someone tomorrow, and she'll have to call a family/friend and be like, 'Remember that part where I said there's a person? That changed. It's a new one.' Just because you never know, I'm young."
