Pazzos Bi, his real name is Pascal Bimenyimana, born April 19, 1989 to Ruzo-Giteranyi. Is a Burundian artist composer, songwriter and autor. His main work is based on peace, especially on the pillars of peace: love, justice, truth, freedom, forgiveness and reconciliation..

[edit]He sings mainly in Kirundi, French and Spanish, but also occasionally in English or Swahili. The lyrics of his songs express a strong attitude and humor related to peace. He studied Spanish at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México UNAM), at the Teaching Center for Foreigners (CEPE-UNAM Teaching Center for Foreigners). The pseudonym dates back to high school, where he was called "Paz," a Spanish word that simply means "peace" instead of Pascal, and then ended by saying "Pazzos." The other part of his new name "Bi" he created himself, putting the first letters of his name "Bimenyimana" (meaning "it is God who knows") His youth passed normally, he listened to bands like Lion Story, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and Otis Redding. But it was when he heard the great Alpha Blondy for the first time that his mentality changed and he decided to turn to reggae and write songs for peace and reconciliation. The heir to Alpha Blondy, as he is known and called in the industry, sings in different languages and languages such as French, Spanish, English, Swahili, Lingala and Kirundi (his mother tongue). In 2013 and after 8 years, he released his new album titled "Inner peace". This album has 7 great songs. Pazzos Bi is recognized worldwide for his career as one of the great representatives of current reggae. Mexico and various parts of Africa are perhaps the regions where Pascal has the largest following. It is worth highlighting Pazzos Bi's knowledge of English, French, Spanish and Kirundi (among others), which is clearly reflected in his songs.

[edit]Pazzos Bi has won the Fight Against HIV/AIDS award in 2013 at her school, with one of her songs "Sida mwansi wacu" in Kirundi, her native language.
