The Touhou - xQc War, or War of Reisistance Against xQc Aggression, is an r/place pixel conflict that began on 23 July 2023.

In the opening moves of the war, xQc planned a placement of a massive Charizard pokemon card art that covered multiple communities' art, including the 2023 Touhou Hijack mural and Mexico's flag.

At about 22:10 PST, xQc openly declared war on all communities within the area. His first attack was against the northern communities of Flappy Bird and Vietnam, likely including other smaller communities as well.

At about 22:30 PST, xQc fired their opening salvos against the northern border of Gensoukyou. This first attack was fought off admirably by Touhou defenders.

At 22:34, the second waves of attacks came in, targeting the northwestern corner of the Touhou mural. This was a much more tragic occasion, with the top left cell getting completely overrun.

By 22:41, xQc had mostly overrun all northern cells of the Touhou hijack mural :marisad:.

Touhou still admirably held their borders, diverting attention from the rest of xQc's campaign.

At 22:50, the last major territory-holder, Mexico, began to show signs of abandoning the fight, leaving Touhou the last major community defending the western quadrant of the canvas.

At 22:54, the central cells were overrun. Touhou still managed to hold their borders, however the chibis they defended had died.

At 22:56, a French-allied streamer began to build a flag over the area of Charizard's flag and the two Rins, signifying the beginning of the end for Touhou chibis.
