Lauren Mary Baker born 28th November 1983 in Solihull to parents Sharon and Frank. Lauren went to Easbourne House School in Acocks Green, Birmingham and then after passing her 11+ King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls.At 16 Lauren left grammar school and chose to go to Josiah Mason Sixth Form College in Stockland Green where she studied A-levels in Dance, Drama and Media. At 19 Lauren enrolled at Wolverhampton University to study a BA Hons in Dance but had to leave after one term due to Glandular Fever. She worked as a waitress for many years in Birmingham and London as well as working as an extra in a music video for singer David Jordan (Sun goes down) as well as TV comercials and films including The Duchess and Hippie Hippie Shake.

Lauren now runs the organisation Square Peg Clothing which supports families affected by disability. www.squarepegclothing.co.uk
