Professor David Rosen is currently a Solicitor and head of Litigation at Darlingtons Solicitors LLP, (where he has held that position for 10 years), and practices as a Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience in all proceedings. He is based primarily at Holborn Gate, London.

He has been selected by Thomson Reuters, Super Lawyers List for 2013, and 2014 recognised in the top 5% of Lawyers as a top Lawyer in London in the fields of Commercial Litigation and fraud.

He regularly appears in the High Court and the Old Bailey, amongst other Court venues.

He is an associate Professor of Law at Brunel University, and regularly lectures there. His current projects include running the Brunel Law Legal Advice Centre, a Pro Bono unit; A course in Adversarial Advocacy, and a short course in Fraud Examination. He is a Commercial Litigator and specialises in Criminal and Commercial Fraud.

Professor Rosen is a member of the Society of Legal Scholars, and a verified Google Scholar.

Professor Rosen is a Certified Fraud Examiner, qualifying in 2011 from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners based in Texas, USA.

He was Strategic Director of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners United Kingdom Chapter.

Professor Rosen is a member of the Royal United Services Institute, 'RUSI', Independent Thinking on Defence and Security.

He is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales, a member of the London Solicitors' Litigation Association, a working member of the Fraud Advisory Panel, a member of the Proceeds of Crime Act Association, and a listed Supervising Solicitor for the purposes of Search Orders, formerly known as Anton Pillar Orders.

He is best known for unique and original strategies and tactics.

In a previous life, David was trained and saw action in the British Army in an elite Infantry Unit.

He rose to fame, having acted as a McKenzie friend to Lady Heather Mills McCartney in her epic Matrimonial case with her then husband, Sir Paul McCartney.

Ordinarily, he prefers not to be in the limelight, and prefers to advise from behind the scenes.

Cases of note include acting for Dr. Avi Arad Hochman, a former Mossad officer, defending him in the Langbar Fraud worth an estimated $360 m.

He has previously acted for a number of celebrities including, but not exhaustively: Jimmy White, George Best, Eric Hall, Heather Mills, and Koo Stark.

He is an avid Twitterer, slightly mad, ever so slightly eccentric, and a lover of all things eclectic.

He was educated at the City of London School, London, EC4, leaving in 1991, and graduated from Brunel University, in 1995 reading Law. He received his Diploma in Law from the College of Law, Store Street, and qualified as a Solicitor in January 1999.

He was articled at Fuglers Solicitors, and then ran his own Law firm in EC4, before joining as a Partner at Darlingtons in 2004.

Professor Rosen is married with 4 children and lives in Stanmore, North West London.
