Journalism

[edit]

In November 2017, a teacher left Herriman High School under mysterious circumstances. Under further investigation by Max Gordon and other fellow students, they discovered that the teacher was fired for "sending highly inappropriate messages to a female student".[3] After an article about the incident was released on the Herriman High Telegraph website, the high school shut down the website. Upon the shutdown of the site, Max and fellow students uploaded their own website to continue posting about the investigation.[4] After a Change.org petition and local public criticism, the high school re-uploaded the website and the articles relating to the investigation.
