Bear

• Seen as a bear-skin rug in episode 15.

Cat

Just a cat.

Brown cat-head seals with darker brown stripes on their fronts and backs.

Canyon Crawler

Bug on steroids.

• Seen in episode 111.

(Dragon)

The dragon has a long, slim body, with tiny arms and tiny legs. It flies with long bat-like wings.

The animal companion of the Fire Nation's Avatar Roku was a red dragon.

(Duck)

Seen in episode 114, after Sokka says "I can't believe these saps," about halfway through the episode.

(Earth Kingdom Transportation Birds)

These huge birds are used as transportation by Earth Kindgom soldiers. The birds are suited completely in armor. They're saddled for one person, but a second may ride as well. They have a horse-like muzzle, but their mouths open like a bird's beak. They have a fluffy tail.

Elephant Koi

A humongous yellow with red sploshes and red and white finned koi fish.

"Flopsie"

A large creature with white fur and long fangs. It has a two goat-like horns on the top of its head, ???-like ears, and hooved feet. It has a lion?-like tail, and a goatee. It moves like a gorilla. It has human-like hands, and stands upright. And I have no idea what kind of animal it's supposed to be called...

Hermit Crab

Seen in episode 17.

Meadow Mole

I don't know anything about monkeys, so I'll have to research what these ones resemble.

Just a mouse.

One forest's spirit looks like a panda.

Penguin

• Seen in episode 1.

Four-armed penguins with whiskers and no beaks. Their feet have three unwebbed toes each. They eat fish.

Platypus Bear

• Seen in episode 114.

(Rabbit)

A long-earred rabbit with puffy cheeks. Its ears are longer than its body.

Reptile Bird

A trademark pet of pirates.

• Seen in episode 9.

Rhino

A rhinoceros with three long horn, one on the nose and one over each eye. A rhino has a long, lizard-like tail, which it may use as a whip-like weapon.

A rhino may be outfitted with a saddle and reins when riden for transportation by the Fire Nation. One or two Fire Nation soldiers may ride a rhino.

Whale

The Water Tribe uses whale teeth for weapons.

Wood Frogs

Wood frogs live in cold swamps, often freezing in them. Their skin excretes a substance which cures a certain sickness, but loses its effect if the frog isn't frozen.

A humongous eel. It spits streams of water.
