Hi my name is Jesse Linklater. I live in Montreal, Quebec and just started contributing to Wikipedia in July of 2020 after putting off the desire to contribute for more than a decade. My core areas of interest are Canadian Cinema, particularly Direct Cinema and Cinema Verite documentaries from the NFB, Cricket, Canadian Sports and music. I have a BFA in Film Production and Studies, but the rest of my interests are primarily driven by personal exuberance and obsession.

In my professional life I own a marketing company and manage the marketing efforts for Genius Solutions, among others. I will work on writing a page for this software company as they currently do not have one while many of their similar competitors do. I will ensure that article is non-promotional.
