Liubov Belousova, [1] [2] is a Russian art dealer, born in Moscow, May 14, 1983. Liubov is a CEO and Founder of BOCCARA ART Galleries.[3] From 2005 to 2014 she was married to a French antique dealer Didier Marien [4] and lived between Paris and Moscow. She was an active participant in the artistic and social life of Paris and her native Moscow, nurturing young talents and doing important exhibitions of promising artists [5]
In 2014 she moved to United States and opened BOCCARA ART New York Gallery at 130 West 56th Street. Today BOCCARA ART Galleries is a network of fine art galleries..[6] It has five gallery spaces, four in the United States: Miami, New York,[7] Brooklyn,[8] Los Angeles and one in Moscow. [9] [10] [11] BOCCARA ART Mexico Gallery in Monterrey, Mexico was permanently closed due to COVID in 2020.[12][13]
Liubov has invested significantly in engaging the local art scenes where her galleries had a presence. For this reason, every gallery of the group was encouraged to source artists locally and share their work with the other branches.
The web of Liubov's galleries represents artists from all over the world. Most of them have Asian roots, such as the Chinese contemporary artist Fu Wenjun[14][15] and Yu LanYing [16]
Among others, Liubov has been representing the following living Korean artists: Hyun Ae Kang,[17] Kim Seungwoo, Kim Jeong Yeon, Krista Kim, Cha Yun Sook & Hayeon,[18][19], Chinese artist Yu LanYing, Russian artist Evfrosina and British artists Benjamin Shine[20][21] and Guido Oakley.
