I'm a student of almost everything out there; the only topics I don't enjoy reading about are those that typically piss me off, mostly political, such as "reasons why evolution is wrong" or "free market economics is the only possibly legitimate structure to society" or "my personal ideas are right no matter what and should be codified in the lay of the land." I'm one of the biggest supporters of open access to knowledge and media, which means I advocate for the destruction of Elsevier, the elimination of measures such as SOPA, and the philanthropic efforts for technology-enabled access such as One Laptop Per Child.
