Leonard J. Pellman

[edit]

Leonard J. ("Len") Pellman is an author of little note and university administrator and lecturer. His background and expertise, for Wikipedia purposes, is chiefly in the fields of traditional Japanese martial arts (chiefly karate-do, iaido or iaijutsu, jodo or jojutsu, kenjutsu, and jujutsu) which he has been practicing and researching for more than 40 years, and business management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing (San Diego State University), an MBA (Webster University) and is currently in the ghastly throes of writing a PhD dissertation (Capella University). His field of academic research is information technology management, specifically in human performance technologies. His research interest has focused on the Yerkes-Dodson curve (the "stress curve") as it applies to human performance, and the role of business leaders, as an ethical and fiduciary responsibility to organizational stakeholders, in effectively managing the stress levels of subordinates.
