Content evaluation

The content really helps readers understand what the existence of family laws means! However, I am not sure whether your work is appropriate to be in the British India section because it does not specifically point out the fact related to the era. As you mentioned in the sandbox, you can add the fact that it was the "initial passing," which would make more sense.
