BENEFITS OF GOOD SLEEP

1.sleep keep your heart healthy: heart attack and stroke usually happen early morning or during sleep which is the result of the way sleep is linked with the blood vessels. Not enough sleep is connected with hypertension and cholesterol which are number one risk for heart disease and stroke.

2.sleep may help prevent cancer: they reported that people who works night shift have higher risk of developing breast and colon cancer. The melatonin which can control the sleep cycle is used to preserve the human body against cancer because it can suppress the growth of the tumor. People in general should avoid electronic used before sleeping and are advised to sleep in a dark room

3.sleep reduces stress: when you are not having enough sleep, you automatically become stressed. You can become hypertensive and can release stress hormones easily. When your blood pressure is high the risk of heart attack and stroke is really high. The stress hormones do not allow you fall asleep easily.


4.sleep reduces inflammation: stress hormone can cause inflammation of the body and lead the body to deteriorate as we all age.

5.sleep makes you more alert: after a good night sleep, most of us feel more energetic and alert for the following day. You feel engage in your occupation and that good night sleep will help you sleep better the next night because your energy level was high

6.sleep improves your memory: sleep helps your brain remember and process certain things better

7.sleep may help you lose weight: researchers had found that any individual who sleep less than 7 hours per night have a tendency to be overweight or obese. Because the lack of sleep can affect your hormonal balances and appetite it is required to sleep more hours a night. So adequate sleep is important


8.napping makes you smarter: Napping during the day can be beneficial for your health and you can become more productive. A study from Greek adults showed that people who napped many times during the week reduce their risk from heart disease

9.sleep may reduce your risk of depression: when you are sleeping a chemical hormone is being impacted (serotonin). People who suffered from depression have a deficiency in serotonin. To prevent depression just get the right amount of sleep per night

10.sleep helps the body repair itself: when you are sleeping it helps you relax your body and it reduces the amount of stress you put on your body.
