"The Commonwealth of Thieves" is Australian history book about the First Fleet era in New South Wales. With regard to the history background of the book, it is necessary to mention the British Empire. The British Empire was the biggest empire in the history and was a global power that lasted for a century. As a result, its legacy was widespread to all areas such as the government systems, economic systems, education system, and a global spread of the English language.[1]
